Mickey Beyer-Clausen

Founder & Chairman

Following a career in launching successful technology businesses, Mickey Beyer-Clausen founded Happiness Foundation based on the belief that he could help make a difference in the world by channelling the talent and skills of motivated individuals into nonprofits that lack specialized knowledge.

Mickey Beyer-Clausen is a Danish-born, New York-based entrepreneur with a track record of building venture-backed, category-defining companies. In the ’90s, he was one of the first to launch successful Internet businesses and today he's building companies around innovations that improve the human or planetary condition.

Currently, Beyer-Clausen is the Co-founder and CEO of Timeshifter - the world’s most advanced technology platform for controlling human circadian rhythms. In 2018, Timeshifter launched its first product — now the most-downloaded and highest-rated jet lag app in the world. Recently, Timeshifter launched its second product — a new app to help shift workers optimize their sleep, safety, health, and quality of life.

Prior to founding Timeshifter, Mickey co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Mental Workout, which brings together leaders in psychology and technology to improve peoples' performance and well-being. He also co-founded Trunk Archive, a full service image licensing agency representing the most engaging and sought after photographers, and Ascio Technologies, a leading domain name service.

Since age 27, Mickey has volunteered his time to causes he cares about. In 2002, he founded Happiness Foundation, whose innovative approach of providing pro bono consulting services rather than money to nonprofits was co-financed by the Danish Government and recognized by the White House and at Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year.
